ShunCheng New Materials\u2019 high\u2011purity silicon carbide micro powder (SiC \u226599.6%) for brake pads is one of the core functional raw materials for carbon\u2011ceramic brakes. Moreover, due to the low density of SiC (3.21 g\/cm\u00b3) and the high porosity design of carbon\u2011ceramic composites, the overall weight of the brake pad is reduced by about 40\u201150% compared to traditional cast iron brakes, effectively reducing unsprung mass and improving vehicle handling and range. Bench tests (SAE J2522) show that the service life of carbon\u2011ceramic brake pads prepared with ShunCheng\u2019s micro powder exceeds 300,000 kilometers, far surpassing the 50,000\u201180,000 km of traditional steel brakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ShunCheng offers brake pad micro powder in multiple particle size specifications from D50 0.5\u03bcm to 25\u03bcm, along with recommendations for particle size gradation optimization according to the customer\u2019s formulation to maximize coating density and friction stability. The product has passed performance validation by several well\u2011known domestic brake pad manufacturers and has successfully passed European ECE R90 testing.
