Green SiC grit, produced from petroleum coke and high‑grade quartz sand in high‑temperature resistance furnaces, offers high hardness (Mohs 9.5), moderate brittleness, and good self‑sharpening properties, making it ideal for wire cutting and precision grinding of hard materials such as PV wafers, cemented carbide, titanium alloys, and optical glass. Black SiC grit has better toughness, making it suitable for grinding and polishing electronic components, marble, cast iron, and non‑ferrous metals.

ShunCheng uses multi‑stage crushing, air classification, and magnetic separation purification to ensure the grits have an equiaxed or near‑spherical shape, achieving a good balance between sharpness and durability. Each batch is tested by laser particle size analyzers, with particle size distribution following a normal distribution and concentration (D85/D50) strictly controlled within 1.5, while oversized particles (above FEPA standard) are less than 0.5%. Compared with ordinary abrasives, ShunCheng grits generate less heat during grinding, improve workpiece surface finish by 1‑2 grades, and extend grinding wheel or tool life by 20‑30%.

Currently, ShunCheng grits are supplied in volume to many well‑known abrasive manufacturers worldwide, with exports to Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United States, India, and other industrialized countries.
